Quick Tip: How to Use Note Links

1 Comment and 2 Shares

Note Links let you connect multiple notes to each other to help you better organize inside your Evernote account. Planning a trip? Use Note Links to link confirmations, articles, and your packing list to your trip itinerary note. Working on a big research project? Link associated notes to a project plan note. Sharing a notebook with colleagues? Create a table of contents for quick reference.

You can create Note Links on any desktop version of Evernote and access Note Links from Evernote, everywhere (including mobile versions).

Create a Note Link

  1. Grab the Note Link to a note by right-clicking on the note and selecting to Copy Note Link.
  2. Paste the link (it will show up as the hyperlinked title of your note) into a New Note or existing note.

I use Evernote like crazy in my daily life, I mean not just business but personal too. Evernote and Things are the two Apps I would most hate to see disappear. And note links are a big plus for me in Evernote. I had to figure them out on my own which felt like doing brain surgery. But this quick article probe I'm at least 34% doofus because it's actually super easy. Enjoy.

Text view comes to the NewsBlur iOS app

3 Comments and 7 Shares

The iOS apps are finding themselves host to a whole slew of additions and enhancements. Today I get to tell you about the iOS app’s newest feature: the Text view.

You can already use the Text view on the web. It’s great for extracting the story’s content on demand and helps you stay on a single tab to do all of your reading.

If you have an iPad or iPhone, you can now use the Text view by hitting the Text/Story button on the bottom left of the story detail pane.

On Android? Don’t you worry, major updates are finishing up as we speak, and soon the Android app will reach full feature parity with the iOS app. It’s just a matter of time.
